Facts about

Mshvidobis Khidi
Tbilisi
The Bridge of Peace was built in Italy and then transported to Tbilisi with a total of 200 trucks. The bridge is particularly worth seeing at night when the 1,208 LED lamps from French designer Philippe Martinaud installed on the roof of the bridge create a spectacular play of colors.
Opinions on the Bridge of Peace differ
The bridge is controversial among locals as well as tourists. Some like it, others don't; and still others find that the bridge has its charm, but doesn't fit into the cityscape, as it leads directly to the historical old town.
