Check out the following hot spots in the city:
Mezzo Jazz Club
Mezzo is an upscale two-storey complex club located in the heart of Yerevan, conveniently close to both cultural and entertainment districts of the city.
Mezzo is a great place for those of you who like to enjoy their evenings in a bit quieter atmosphere, with a glass of wine and live music. The venue is a favorite spot for many locals and tourists alike. Address (show on map).
Calumet Ethnic Lounge Bar
Calumet is one of the oldest and coolest clubs, Hipster place in the centre of the city. Easily accessible and great atmosphere. Amazing vibes and lovely place to meet and hangout with the locals and arty folk. Good range of beverages and food. The music is good and open till pretty late into the night.
Do note that, as the place is quite popular and gets crowded pretty much every night, it’s advisable to book a table in advance. Also, if you dislike cigarette smoke, you might avoid this place since smoking is allowed here. Address (show on map).
Hemingway’s is where the city’s hipsters flock to for a night of craft cocktails in the midst of vintage posters and artwork, old vinyl records, and a plethora of books. It’s a chill place, good music, and good service. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.
Take our recommendation and visit the place in the early evening for dinner and some drinks or late at night to dance till the morning. And for cool summer evenings, Pub offers outside open-air road side area with flexible moving tables and chairs to accommodate small or large groups of people.
If Mr. Hemingway himself was around today, he’d likely enjoy his favorite drink, a daiquiri, at the bar while marveling at the pub that he inspired. Address (show on map).
Barcode Bar is a great place to enjoy a drink with good live music. With a comfortable, friendly, and cozy environment, Barcode is a favorite spot for many locals to hang out with friends, meet new people, and simply have a good night out. Relaxed vibes and a wide arrangement of cocktails and shots.
Barcode is a special place, handcrafted by the owners. Place where cultures meets. Address (show on map).
One of my absolute favorite places to eat in Yerevan! Unsurprisingly, the restaurant also has an impressive wine collection. The restaurant is actually split into two parts: Wine Republic and Thai Republic. Don’t be confused by the names, as both are parts of the same restaurant and share the same menu and outdoor patio.
Wine Republic is a very popular place in Yerevan and tables fill up quickly, especially during dinner. It is also located near one of Yerevan’s most famous touristic sights – the Cascade. Address (show on map).
Another well-known pub in Yerevan is “Liberty Pub.” Here you can listen to different types of music such as pop, rock, techno or live music. The building is huge and comfortable for the guests, the atmosphere calmer than in other clubs.
There is a wide variety of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices in the pub. The staff is attentive and friendly. To assure customers’ safety, there is face control on entry. There is no entry fee in the pub. Address (show on map)
Achajour cafe at Lover's Park - if you visit in summer, this is the best cafe to hang out with friends, family, or do some work in a non-office environment. This is a very tranquil located in the middle of a very beautiful park. You can see different types of people here, from students to entrepreneurs, from software engineers to eco-activists to dentists.
Achajour is a Yerevan cafe favorite that should be on every digital nomad’s list of places to work from in the Armenian capital. Address (show on map).
A cafe and cultural center both, Mirzoyan Library is one of the coolest cafes in Yerevan and is a local favorite. Situated in a cozy and quiet part of Yerevan in a courtyard and historic building, the cafe has coffee, art, and often hosts events.
They have fast WIFI and the staff speaks English. This is the most laid back place in the city to get some work done, undoubtedly. Address (show on map).
