Thanks to our interesting tours you can explore the city of Baku and the surrounding area. Here are three programs especially for football fans.
Baku City Tour
- Guests: 8 - 10 people
- Duration: 4 hours
- Lunch: inclusive
- Price per person: 69.00 USD
We start this guided city tour of Baku with a visit to Highland Park, which is situated slightly elevated above the old town and the promenade. From up there you have a unique view over the architecturally very interesting city. You will see the Martyrs' Avenue and the Eternal Fire before descending to the Old Town, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visit the legendary Maiden Tower and visit the palace of the Shirvanshahs.
Gobustan mud volcanoes
- Guests: 8 - 10 people
- Duration: 1 day
- Lunch: inclusive
- Price per person: 85.00 USD
60 km southwest of Baku we visit the Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The museum is about the interesting archaeological finds and more than 6,000 rock paintings (5,000 to 20,000 years old). We take a hike in the Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape and discover cave paintings and bizarre geological formations. The next highlight is the mud volcanoes, which we reach after a short 4x4 drive. The landscape there seems to come from another world; the silence is only interrupted by the gurgling and bubbling sounds of the volcanoes with their small eruptions of cold mud. On the way back to Baku we visit the Bibi Heybat Mosque.
Absheron Peninsula
- Guests: 8 - 10 people
- Duration: 4 -6 hours
- Lunch: inclusive
- Price per person: 95.00 USD
This excursion takes us to the heights of the Absheron Peninsula, which juts into the Caspian Sea, and is dedicated to the theme of fire. Not for nothing, Azerbaijan is called the «Land of Fire». We drive to the burning mountain Yanar Dag. Due to the natural gas resources, the small hill is burning continuously and for a long time. We continue to the northeast of the peninsula, where we visit the castle of Mardakan. Further, we visit the fire temple Ateshgah. This castle-like temple in the village of Surachani was used as a place of worship in Zoroastrianism. Today it is a museum.
